Smorgasbord, Part 1

Now that things have calmed down at the office, here are a bunch of Paint markings. Enjoy!

"This is a picture of my colt, 'Max,' " writes Ashley Decock of Conroe, Texas. "If you look at his blaze, it is in the shape of a spoon."

Max is registered as a 2007 black tobiano gelding named Fleets Black Max.

Gunners Pin Up Girl is a 2009 chestnut overo filly owned by Lynn Wood of Magnolia, Texas. "Check out the bird in flight on her back," writes Lynn.

"My horse has a rabbit-looking marking on one hip and a duck's head with the beak open on the other side," writes Roxanne Jones of Rome, Georgia, about her 2008 sorrel overo stallion FJFtootufftohandle. "His barn name is 'Tin Man' off the Wizard of Oz."

" 'Clyde,' as we call him, is a very creative horse and was born special," writes Kaitlin Russell of Canton, Georgia. "On his right side he has a brown spot that looks like a dog's head balancing a ball on its nose. He also has a white spot on his neck that looks like a horse's head with a white mane. And on his left side he has a brown spot over his flank that looks like an Indian chief."

Clyde is registered as Claddagh Haus Destiny, a 2001 bay tobiano gelding owned by Kaitlin.

Upon purchasing Barbbelleoftheball, a 1994 sorrel overo mare, earlier this year, Jane and Adrian Nugent of Saline, Louisiana, had to send in new registration photos. After snapping a few shots, Jane was surprised at what she found.

"While I was taking the new pictures to send in, I noticed on her right side on her belly that she had a bird in flight," writes Jane. "I would have never noticed if I hadn't taken new pictures to send in."

2009 bay overo filly Paige Me Tuff has double the markings on her! " 'Paige' has a bleeding heart on her hip and a number 4 on the same side," writes Patti Greenwood of McMinnville, Oregon, who owns the Paint with her husband, Robert.
