While his name may still be pending, this little 2009 black stallion's marking is certainly not. Meet Mi Dulce Rey, a 2009 black stallion owned by Michael Kinsey of Wilburton, Oklahoma.

"He has a 'c' on his neck," writes Frank Tullier.

See if you can find the markings on this one!

"Apple Patch Annie has an Eskimo waving and a polar bear on her side," writes Frank Tullier. "She is ALL Alaskan, I guess!"

This winter-themed Paint is a 1999 sorrel tobiano mare owned by Michael Kinsey of Wilburton, Oklahoma. She's also the dam to the little furry fella above!

Those of you with little kids may want to grab them and see if they recognize this next character found on 2000 black tobiano gelding Dee Bar Dynasty.

"My daughter noticed Kuzko the llama (from Disney's "The Emperor's New Groove") on 'Gambler's' neck," writes Jillaine Witczak. "If you tilt your head to the left, you can see him laying on his knees."

Gambler is owned by Kimberly Marlowe of Roscommon, Michigan.

I wonder what animal is riding alongside this Paint Horse...

"Can you see the ostrich's head on 'Lola's left side?" asks Nicole Guetler of Konstanz, Germany.

Lola is a 2006 bay tobiano mare named Chexshowgirl Lil Lola.

Another animal has been spotted on Elizabeth Pocohantas, an 8-year-old red roan overo mare owned by Elizabeth Shutt.

"It looks like a schnauzer dog on her neck," writes Elizabeth of Spring Mills, Pennsylvania.

Animal Farm, part five

It's time for another round of Animal Farm! If you've missed out on past editions of Animal Farm markings, check out versions one, two, three and four.

Sonny Cool Youre Jets, a 2007 chestnut tobiano mare, has gone to the dogs with her marking!

"One day we were standing out with the horse and I saw a dog shape on her right side," writes owner Crystal Vogel of Apple Hill, Ontario, Canada. "She is 2-years-old and the dog hasn't moved or changed one bit."

(If you can't see it, the dog's head is facing the horse's rear and the dog looks like a poodle.)

Following the dog (or maybe running away from) is 1996 bay overo gelding Commander Cat Bird from Laurel, Delaware. Take a guess at his markings!

"He has a picture of a cat on his side, with the cat's tail running up his hip, and a picture of a bird on his neck," writes his owner, Heather Holloway. "Hence his name, Commander Cat Bird."

Today's Animal Farm post is a real cat-and-mouse chase! Impressive Whispers, owned by Nicole Gray of Belleville, Michigan, sports a mouse on her side—Mickey Mouse, to be exact.

"This is my 3-year-old filly and you can clearly see Mickey Mouse's head on her right side," writes Nicole about her 2006 sorrel tobiano mare.

Meet Uvaldes Nu Sassy Doll, a 2003 dun tobiano mare. Here's what her owner, Tricia Reed of Puyallup, Washington, has to say: "We've always thought that 'Zena' has a half of a prancing horse—with the right leg up and the left front leg extended—down her nose on her head."

How about this cute puppy dog?

"Pandas Chey A Summer is an 11-year-old mare I lease from a friend—Carolyn Jean Lincoln [of Norton, Massachusetts]," writes Wendy Palmer of Windsor, Pennsylvania. "I live in Pennsylvania, so I sent her this picture and she pointed out the perfect dog head on her side with the ear going down her leg."

Pandas Chey A Summer is a 1998 black tovero mare owned by Lincoln.

Have any questions about this last one? Meet Call Me Rerun, a 1996 black tovero mare. " 'Poco' has one very large question mark on her rump, curving above her tail and extending down her hind leg," writes Vanessa Green of Mobile, Alabama, who owns the mare.
