There are two ways you can tell if your photo is big enough. First, check the resolution and see if it's 300 dpi or higher. If it is, great! If not, look at the file size. If it's under about 700 KB (kilobytes), the photo probably won't be published in APHA Connection (it will, however, make it to this blog). If the file size is 700 KB or larger, say 1+ MB (megabyte), it's excellent quality and will work well in the magazine!
For those of you who have photos waiting by the door, desperate to have an address and be mailed, or sitting on your computer's hard drive, just itching for an e-mail address, never fear. E-mail photos to mlarson@apha.com. If you're using the good ol' post office, mail your Paint markings to APHA Connection, Attn: Megan Larson, 2800 Meacham Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76137.
Any questions? E-mail me and I'll be glad to help out! Otherwise, have a fabulous Friday with your Paints!
